Hulk withdrew early from training with the rest of his team-mates on Sunday morning, two days before the host nation's second World Cup Group A match against Mexico.

The 27-year-old Zenit St Petersburg player immediately left the field after scoring in a training game between the likely starting line-up for the match against Mexico and the substitutes.

Hulk, whose place was taken by Ramires, did not look entirely at ease as he returned to the changing room but it remains to be seen if his early withdrawal could see him miss the upc

Match Notes
The winner of Tuesday's match will be guaranteed a spot in the next round if Cameroon and Croatia draw their match on Wednesday in the jungle city of Manaus.

Having been helped by the referee in the opener against Croatia, Brazil will want to impress on there own.

Whether match-winner Neymar will be more cautious knowing a second booking would rule him out of the third game remains to be seen.

But the Mexicans have won big matches against Brazil before, beating them 4-3 in the final of the Confederations Cup in 1999 and more recently in the Olympic final in London.

Belgium manager Marc Wilmots has no major injury concerns.

Chelsea's permanently loaned striker Romelu Lukaku will lead the attack as Aston Villa's Christian Benteke misses the competition due to an Achilles problem suffered

 earlier in the year.

Kevin De Bruyne should start behind Lukaku, with Steven Defour expected to miss out on a place in the starting XI.

Meanwhile, Algeria head coach Vahid Halilhodzic has a number of experienced players plying their trade in Europe's top leagues available to him, with the likes of Faouzi Ghoulam, Saphir Taïder and Nabil Bentaleb expected to start.

Belgium have a host of familiar faces in their squad and if those Premie League regulars can match their form in england - and if Marouane Fellaini can raise his game - then they have a chance of enjoying the World Cup.

He faces a busy afternoon against the likes of Premier League stars John Obi Mikel, Victor Moses and Peter Odemwingie.

At the other end, Nigeria can call on the formidable Vincent Enyeama, who denied Lionel Messi with impressive saves in the 2010 finals in South Africa.

Iran coach Carlos Queiroz favours a 4-2-3-1 formation, with captain Javad Nekounam the midfield fulcrum to allow Charlton’s Reza 'Gucci' Ghoochannejhad and Fulham winger Ashkan Dejagah to counter-attack.

Iran are the top-ranked side in Asia with an impressive defensive record and a manager with plenty of tactical acumen in former Manchester United assistant and Real Madrid coach Carlos Queiroz.

Neither side has enjoyed much World Cup success.

After beating Bulgaria 1-0 in their second group game in 1998, the Nigerians have had two draws and six defeats.

And Iran’s 2-1 victory over the United States in Lyon 16 years ago was their sole win at a World Cup.

USA open up their World Cup campaign with a match against Ghana, which given the strength of opposition in their group is one they can ill-afford to lose.

With Germany and Portugal lurking in what could very well be the hardest group in the competition, both sides will be desperate to secure a vital win.

Ghana are considered by some to be the best African team in the competition and will be hoping to at least match their impressive showing from the 2010 competition when the arm of Luis Suarez and a missed penalty denied them a semi-final place.

Black Stars’ manager James Kwesi Appiah can call upon a reasonably experienced squad, with Gyan, Kevin-Prince Boateng, Kwadwo Asamoah and Michael Essien all at his disposal as Ghana look to negotiate their way out of a devilish group.

Meanwhile USA manager Jurgen Klinsmann has shown he is not afraid to make the hard decisions omitting Landon Donovan in favour of younger, more mobile options.

Consequently Klinsmann, will be looking for Clint Dempsey to lead the way with hopes of a breakout performance from AZ Alkmaar forward Aron Johannsson.

If former Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan scores twice in Brazil, then he will surpass Cameroon legend Roger Milla and become the top African goalscorer in the World Cup with six goals.

USA’s best appearance in the World Cup was in 1930 where the Stars and Stripes finished third.

Ghana scored 25 goals in the preliminary round, which is the most any African nation managed to net in the qualifiers.

Manuel Neuer has been passed fit to face Portugal.

The German goalkeeper returned to training last Wednesday after a month out recovering from a shoulder injury.

Roman Weidenfeller kept goal for Germany's final two warm-up matches against Cameroon and Armenia, but Neuer will play.

Bastian Schweinsteiger will be available after taking a 60km helicopter flight to hospital to treat a foot injury

Portugal, meanwhile, will include Cristiano Ronaldo despite a lingering knee problem.

Two European powers clash in Salvador where Cristiano Ronaldo will be determined to give Portugal a good start.

Germany have a reputation for starting well in World Cups, having won their opening match in every World Cup since 1990.

And they will rely heavily on Arsenal trio Per Mertesacker, Mesut Özil and Lukas Podolski.

There will be some familiarity; the teams were drawn together in the qualifying group at Euro 2012, with Germany winning 1-0 with a goal from Mario Gomez.

Argentina will hope that Lionel Messi can start with a bang and claim his first goal in the finals for eight years.

Messi’s last World Cup goal was on his debut in the competition in Germany in 2006 when Argentina beat Serbia and Montenegro 6-0 and he came off the bench to net the last goal.

Bosnia, meanwhile, must make a couple of decisions.

In the centre of defence either Ermin Bicakcic or Toni Sunjic will partner Emir Spahic.

And in midfield, either Zvjezdan Misimovic or Sejad Salihovic will sit behind Manchester City’s Edin Dzeko.
